Bio
Sam Gabor is an American composer for film, television, theater, and immersive media. Born in Kuwait and of Indian descent, his music draws from multiple cultural traditions—blending orchestral depth with electronic and world textures.
A self-taught composer, Gabor approaches each project as a storytelling opportunity. This narrative focus is evident across his recent credits. In Crying Wolf, processed vocals and intimate string writing mirror a child's encounter with the uncanny. In I Can't Hear, a silent horror film where music becomes the primary storytelling voice, driven string textures and piano carry the psychological weight of a descent into darkness. In Dead Ed, sweeping orchestral themes bring the scale and heart of classic epics to a post-apocalyptic adventure. In The Pursuit of Refuge, traditional Middle Eastern instruments give musical depth to a story of displacement and resilience.
Beyond his work in visual media, Gabor releases independent compositions through his label SDG Music.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations and a master’s degree in AI policy. His work reflects a commitment to human craft, with all music composed and produced without generative AI.
